SPECIALISED MANAGEMENT GROUP / ICT

ICT delivery for facilities that

cannot go dark.

Our project managers are engineers. We take on the phases where ICT either holds or fails: commissioning, cut-over, handover and operational readiness, inside live environments.

WHERE WE COME IN

Most ICT programmes are well designed and badly landed.

The risk concentrates at the end, in the weeks where systems are energised, integrated, tested and handed to the people who have to run them. That is the phase we own.
01

Strategy and advisory

Scoping, options analysis, technical due diligence and delivery planning before the budget is locked.
Advisory
02

Design coordination

Reviewing consultant design against buildability, resilience targets and the operating model the client actually has.
Advisory
03

Procurement and implementation

Vendor scoping, contractor interface management and programme control across concurrent ICT and building services works.
Lead
04

Testing and commissioning

Commissioning plans, witnessed testing, integrated systems testing and defect close-out against a live register.
Lead
05

Cut-over and handover

Runsheets, rollback positions, migration windows and staged transition planned around operations that keep running.
Lead
06

Operational readiness and support

Asset data, documentation, training, spares and support arrangements, so day one is not the first time anyone runs it.

THE DIFFERENCE

Engineers running the programme, not managing it from a distance.

Specialised Management Group was founded in 2017 because construction companies were struggling with building services on complex sites. We started in commissioning and handover and expanded from there.
Mission critical facilities and city infrastructure
SECTORS

Environments where a failed cut-over is a reportable event.

YOUR ICT CONTACTS

Two people, not a switchboard.

Tell us what is due to go live.

Send us the programme dates and the systems in scope. We will tell you where the risk sits and whether we are the right fit.
SERVICE

ICT Advisory & Delivery

Full lifecycle ICT project delivery for secure, resilient and mission critical infrastructure. We are brought in when the technology has to integrate with the building, the operation and the compliance regime around it.
SCOPE OF SERVICE

What we take responsibility for.

01

Technical due diligence

Independent review of design, resilience assumptions, capacity and single points of failure before commitment.
02

Programme and interface management

Coordinating ICT works against base build, mechanical, electrical and security trades on a single critical path.
03

Procurement support

Specification, tender evaluation and vendor scoping so the contract covers testing, documentation and handover, not just supply.
04

Commissioning management

Commissioning plans, witnessed testing, integrated systems testing and a defect register worked to close-out.
05

Cut-over and migration planning

Runsheets, rollback positions, outage windows and stakeholder sequencing for transitions inside live operations.
06

Operational readiness

Asset registers, as-built documentation, training, spares, support contracts and the operating procedures the facility needs on day one.
HOW AN ENGAGEMENT RUNS

The register is the project.

Every engagement is run against one live document that records scope, responsibility, status and sign-off. Nothing is verbal, nothing sits with a single person, and the client can see the position at any point.
Stage 1

Position assessment

We review the programme, design and contracts, and give you a written position on risk, gaps and the realistic delivery window.
2 to 3 weeks
Stage 2

Delivery plan

Scope split by party, commissioning strategy, testing regime, documentation requirements and the handover definition agreed in writing.
3 to 4 weeks
Stage 3

Delivery and commissioning

We run the interface, chair the meetings, witness the testing and hold the register through to defect close-out.
Programme length
Stage 4

Transition to operations

Handover pack, training, support arrangements and a defined period of post-occupancy attendance.
4 to 12 weeks
ONGOING SUPPORT

Delivery does not end at practical completion.

Facilities carry the consequences of a rushed handover for years. Where a client wants continuity, our ICT Service Desk picks up first line and escalation support against agreed response targets, using the asset data and documentation we built during delivery.
Mission critical facilities and city infrastructure

Bring us in before the commissioning phase, not during it.

The earlier we see the programme, the more of the risk we can take out of it.
SERVICE / ICT ADVISORY & DELIVERY

ICT Service Desk

Support built on the asset data and documentation from delivery, so the people answering the call already know how the facility is put together.
WHAT IT COVERS

First line and escalation, against agreed response targets.

RESPONSE FRAMEWORK

P1 Critical

Service affecting, operations impacted Immediate

P2 High

Degraded, workaround in place Same day

P3 Standard

Isolated fault or request Next business day

P4 Scheduled

Planned change or improvement By agreement
Targets are set per facility during the transition to operations, not applied as a standard tier.

Support that starts from a complete record of the facility.

Tell us what you are running and where the support gaps are.
